By using linkchecknow.com ("LinkCheckNow", "the site") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the tools do
LinkCheckNow provides free tools that show information about web links: the redirects a link passes through, the final address, and facts about that address. The URL Cleaner and the QR reader run in your browser. Results are provided for information only.
No guarantee of safety
A LinkCheckNow result is not a guarantee that a link, website, file or QR code is safe, legitimate or free of malware. Websites can change at any time and may show different content to different visitors. You are responsible for deciding whether to visit a link, enter information or download anything. See our disclaimer.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the tools to attack, overload, probe or scan websites or networks, or to get around another site's security or access controls;
- submit links you don't have the right to access, or links containing other people's personal information;
- send automated or bulk requests, scrape the site, or interfere with its operation (reasonable personal use is fine; automated checks are rate-limited);
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We may block access from addresses that misuse the service.
Links you submit
When you check a link, our server visits it on your behalf. Some links, such as one-time login or password-reset links, can be used up when they're visited. Don't submit links like these.
Content and intellectual property
The site's design, text and code belong to LinkCheckNow, except third-party materials used under their own licences. You may quote short parts of our guides with a link back. Brand names mentioned in results and guides belong to their owners and are used only to describe or identify them.
Third-party websites and ads
The site links to other websites and may show ads served by Google. We're not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of other websites.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LinkCheckNow is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, its tools or its results, including losses from visiting a website, entering information or downloading a file.
Changes
We may update these terms or change, add or remove tools at any time. The date above shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
